Turn Off Your Wi-Fi. Keep Your Internet.

Cathy Cooke has walked into hundreds of homes with a meter in her hand. She says if you only ever fix one thing, fix this one. Her hardwiring workshop normally sells for $19. On September 22 the SYB community watches it free, once, and then Cathy stays on camera to answer your questions.

Normally $19. Free once. Then ask Cathy anything, live.

Normally $19 Live Q&A with Cathy One time only
Hosted by R Blank of The Healthier Tech Podcast

You have been looking in the wrong place.

Almost every call Cathy takes starts the same way. A 5G antenna went up down the street. There is a cell tower two blocks over. The neighbor installed a mesh system. Everyone points outside. Then Cathy walks in with her meter and finds the loudest source of radio frequency in the whole house sitting on a shelf in the living room, plugged in, humming away all day and all night. It is the Wi-Fi router. Distance is what matters, and the tower is far away while the router is eight feet from your head. The good news is that you own this one. Nobody needs permission to fix it.

Three ways to hardwire. Pick the one that fits your house.

Cathy walks through all three from start to finish, with the actual equipment in her hands. No wall has to be opened unless you want it opened. Then she stays on camera and answers your questions about your own setup.

Hire It Out

Call a low voltage technician and they run the cable inside your walls, leaving a tidy port in every room you use. Cathy tells you exactly what to ask for, what it costs you, and why this is the right call if you cannot stand the sight of a cord.

Do It Yourself With Cords

The method Cathy spends the most time on, because most people can finish it in an afternoon. Which cord, which port, what to do when your laptop has no ethernet jack, and the two switches almost everyone forgets to flip after they plug in.

Powerline Adapters

Turn the wiring already inside your walls into the cable. Short cords, no stapling along the baseboards, no drilling through a floor. Cathy names the one model that passed her dirty electricity testing and explains why most of the others failed it badly.

The part you can only get live

Cathy answers your questions, live on camera

When the workshop ends, Cathy stays on to take your questions in real time. Your router, your provider, the one device in your house nobody will agree to unplug. This live Q&A happens once and is never recorded, so the only way to be in the room is to show up on September 22.

Specifics, not vague advice

A few of the concrete things Cathy hands you in the half hour.

Her One Rule, Stated Plainly
"If you can do one thing, just one thing only, it is going to be to take the time to hardwire your internet, because that is going to reduce your exposure."
Cathy Cooke, in the workshop
The One Brand That Passed
Powerline adapters can push dirty electricity through your walls, which trades one exposure for another. Cathy has installed them in many homes and metered every job. She names the model that came back clean and warns you off the ones that did not.
What To Say To Your Provider
Most internet companies cannot imagine why anyone would want Wi-Fi switched off, so they stall you. Cathy gives you the exact wording that works. Sensitive work, security, hardwired connection. Suddenly they know which setting to change.
The Two Switches Everyone Forgets
Plugging in the cord is not the finish line. The radio inside your router keeps broadcasting, and so does the one inside your laptop, and so does Bluetooth. Cathy walks through shutting all of them off, then confirming it with a meter.

Taught by someone who does this for a living.

Everything you need to know

Is this live or a recording?
Both. Cathy recorded the workshop earlier, and on September 22 at 3 PM ET we play it in full for the SYB community. Then Cathy joins us live on camera to take your questions. So you get the complete workshop plus a real-time Q&A, one time only.
Can I ask Cathy my own questions?
Yes. After the workshop, Cathy is live on camera taking questions in real time. Bring the specifics of your own house. Your provider, your router model, the device nobody in your family will agree to unplug. This live Q&A is the one part you cannot get anywhere else.
Where do I watch?
After you register, we email you the direct join link before the event. It works in any browser. Nothing to download and no account to create.
What if I miss it?
Two different answers, and we want to be straight with you about both. The workshop itself stays available at its regular $19, so the teaching is not gone forever. The free viewing happens once, and the live Q&A with Cathy is never recorded. Miss September 22 and you can still buy the workshop. You cannot get the Q&A. Set a calendar reminder when you register.
Do I need to open my walls or buy a pile of equipment?
No walls, unless you choose the method that involves them. Cathy shows three routes and the middle one needs an ethernet cord and maybe a small adapter, which run a few dollars each. She also covers what to do when someone else in the house refuses to give up Wi-Fi, because any reduction still counts.
Is this a sales pitch?
No. The workshop is the thing you came for, and on September 22 it costs you nothing. Cathy teaches you to do this yourself with parts from any electronics store. You will leave able to hardwire your home whether or not you ever buy a thing from us.

One time only. Cathy's full hardwiring workshop, free.

Tuesday, September 22, 2026. 3:00 to 4:00 PM ET. Normally $19, free for the SYB community this once, plus the live Q&A with Cathy on camera.
